DANNY ANTAKY – TRAINER / OWNER
Danny, started off at an early age, at just four years old he commenced his training under the guidance of his father and trainer Master Sid Antaky to become one of the most outstanding competitors in Tae Kwon Do. At the age of fourteen Danny, competed and became the “best of the best” Champion and later went on to perform his skills and expertise in front of the Korean President of Tae Kwon Do. After much training and hard work Danny received the honorary privilege of becoming a 2nd Dan Black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
After accomplishing a recognizable name and degree in the sport Danny, turned his attention to Kick Boxing, Danny, went on to compete in a number of promotions for Kick Boxing/Mod Thai, while still maintaining active and playing Rugby League for the Sydney Bulls.
Danny continues his passion for martial arts and in 2011, Danny decided to share his passion with the community and opened Pride Gym, where he strives to teach and educate the public in martial arts and fitness while providing a safe and comfortable environment for each individual student regardless of age or gender.
MASTER SID ANTAKY – MANAGER / TRAINER
Master Sid Antaky, started his training in karate in 1973 in Lebanon, he continued his training in Australia in 1975. Master Sid continued his passion for martial arts by undertaking Boxing training at St George PCYC, after developing a strong knowledge for kickboxing, he turned his attention to Tae Kwon Do, and in 1977 Sid competed in an international tournament held at the opera house, in which he placed 4th. Master Sid continued his training in boxing under the skilful leadership of Rodney Macquillan Boxing Gym, where he trained alongside Tony Mundines trainer.

In 1994, Master Sid has earned a 4th degree black belt (Masters Belt) in Tae Kwon Do, after establishing a recognisable career in Tae Kwon Do, Master Sid was giving the honour of training and coach the Australian Tae Kwon team, the team competed in Dubai and Lebanon.
After winning two professional kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do fights, Master Sid helped organize the Australian Olympic Tae Kwon Do Team in. In 2005, Master Sid referred the first legal cage fight in Australia titled “king of the cage” Master Sid, is registered as both a national and international referee.
Master Sid currently holds a 6th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, where is certified to train and pass on his skills to any whiling and eager student.

SCOTT ALLISON – KICKBOXING/MUAY THAI/SAMBO/JIU JITSU/PANKRATION
Scott’s career and passion in Martial Arts began well before he could walk or even talk.
It started off by watching his late Grandfather train who had been a boxer in his youth, and when Scott started training and sparring with him it ignited a flame in him that still burns strongly more than 30 years on.
At the age of 8 onwards Scott began competing in various club boxing tournaments. Wanting to expand his knowledge and skills further he began Kung Fu and kick boxing, he then went on to have 12 kick boxing fights, 10 of which were wins.
Still wanting to fuel the growing flame he started training in Stick Fighting, Traditional Ju-Jitsu, Judo, Grappling and a number of various Martial Arts styles.
In 2011 Scott made the Australian Team to compete in Iran for in the World Toa Championships, achieving 4th place in Gilma (Persian Combat Wrestling).
All of Scott’s Martial Arts experience over the years is what led him into his desire to teach others the skills and techniques he has developed throughout his life.
The best advice Scott offers to anyone considering Martial Arts is that your training begins with complete respect for yourself and for others. Hard work, determination, inner strength and a never give up “can-do” attitude will be the biggest personal attributes you can have to take you all the way.
Martial Arts will not only help you to be healthier physically, your mind and soul will also be rewarded immensely as well.

Junior is an accredited Personal Trainer who studied at AIF (Australian Institute of Fitness) /Master Trainer certification. He grew up heavily involved with sports from a young age, starting with Little Athletics and was given the opportunity to train with the elite track athletes at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra for the 100m Sprint. He turned this opportunity down with the hopes of fulfilling his childhood dream of playing Professional Rugby Union; Playing Under 21’s First Colts for Two Blues at the age of 14 whilst training with the NTS (National Talent Squad) and HPU (High Performance Unit) before sealing a spot with Sydney University and being the youngest player to play Under 21’s First Colts wearing their jersey. He was then lured to Rugby League through his manager where he signed a contract with Penrith Panthers under 20’s before he suffered a major injury. Although he was heavily involved with Rugby and Athletics, as well as Touch Football in the offseason, his discipline and dedication to training was taught to him through boxing lessons with his Father. After the injury Junior had 15 Amateur boxing fights with a Record of 14 wins, 1 loss, and with 9 of those wins via TKO. His only loss due to an injury in his shoulder and has never fully recovered. He brings a wealth of knowledge through his years of training and utilizes the best forms of training from all fields of Sport that he has experienced using them to encourage nothing but the best.
